Instructions

True one coat application makes this very easy to incorporate into most manufacturing facilities. Increase your product’s value, color and finishing capabilities all with a single application of Nelsonite.

Step by Step Instructions

Step One

Manufacture your product with Nelsonite in mind. Sand, assemble and machine all your parts prior to Nelsonite.

Step Two

We recommend application prior to staining and finishing. Accomplish all glueing operations prior to application.

Step Three

Make sure your product is ready for application, with moisture content between 6-10%. Most domestic wood suppliers provide raw materials that fit into this category.

Step Four

Dip or Spray. Let Nelsonite penetrate and dry 24 hours. This dry time allows solvents to evaporate and resins start to harden. The smell of Nelsonite will dissipate within a week of application.

Step Five

Stain your product with normal application of stain and continue with scheduled applications of top coats and finishes.

Guidelines

Since Nelsonite is very user friendly, integration into most manufacturing timelines is easily accomplished. No equipment to purchase or high tech monitoring systems to invest in. Application is simple and effective with proven results that our customers have come to depend on. This speeds up production and yeilds a much higher quality finished product.
